Ghosts in the Graveyard

I grew up in a very small midwestern town of 1400 people and of course plenty...and I mean plenty of neighbor kids to play with.  One of our favorite games to play in the summer, at night of course, was "Ghosts in the Graveyard".   It was a blast and very very scary....

This card reminds me of those good times...ahhhh...such wonderful memories.

Super easy to make!  Here are the instructions:

  • Die cut Dill paper using Graveyard Landscape die
  • Die cut a scrap piece of Dove paper with Graveyard Landscape die as well, and cut off tombstones.  Attach tombstones to Dill graveyard using 2-way glue or another liquid glue.  Distress tombstones lightly with Weathered Wood Distress Inks.
  • Die cut a scrap piece of paper (I used Woodland Path) using the circle from the Grand Globe die and attach to front of Licorice Notecard.
  • Layer Graveyard Landscape over the moon.
  • Die cut Ghost Trio from white cardstock and distress edges lightley with Weathered Wood Distress Ink.
  • I stamped "Perfect Halloween" and heat embossed with Holographic embossing powder.  Unfortunately its a bit hard to see.  Next time, I'll use white embossing powder...

This is one of four cards I'll be teaching in Peoria, IL on September 30 at Scrapadoodle.  Here's a pic of all four cards we'll make that day.
