A Wonderful Christmas

Blog blitz

Welcome to What's in the Box 2012 Blog Blitz. I have a simple Christmas Card featuring two of the new stamps.

Instructions:

  • Stamp Winter Cabin #F1871, on eggshell cardstock using Archival Vermillion Ink.  Emboss with clear embossing powder.
  • Stamp Simply Wonderful #B1870 with Black Ink.
  • Punch a 1/2"circle from a post it note to use as a mask for the moon.  Sponge sky area with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. Remove mask.  Sponge lightly with the same ink under the tree lines and next to the house.
  • Apply glitter to the roof of the house and to the hills.
  • With a white pen draw  snow dots in the sky area.
  • Place red rhinstone on each side of the sentiment.
  • Layer the image on cranberry cardstock, and then on a eggshell layer.
  • On a Lagoon cardstock layer, adhere a piece of cranberry distressed dots cardstock.
  • Adhere a ribbon to this layer, then glue to card front.
  • Pop dot the main image on top of that.

Enjoy!

I was so excited to see this card as I've just purchased the exact dies that you used. I'm having a love affair with MB dies. Can't decide which of my Christmas Cards to do first. Thanks for all the fantastic ideas.
