"Die-ing" to Thank You!
I continue to have fun with my Memory Box dies and sometimes I challenge myself to see how many dies I can use on just one card. This time it was four dies. Not a record, but I was pleased.
The base card is Holly Berry. The side border and the butterfly are cut from squash moroccan paper. I used these four dies:
Tessatina Border 98302 Cocoa Bean Butterfly 98148
Blank Ticket 98213 Script Thanks 98240
Stamps used:
Cocoa Bean Butterfly Chrysanthemum Frame
C1714 G1857
I stamped the butterfly a few times in the background, directly onto the card base with Chocolate Brilliance. I layered the moroccan paper on the left side and added the Tessatina Border die that I cut from cream paper. I colored it by using a sponge applicator tool and Chocolate Brilliance ink. I used Vintage Photo distress ink to stamp the Chrysanthemum Frame onto cream cardstock and cut it out with the Blank Ticket die. The image was colored with shimmering chalks and given a few highlights with Glossy Accents for the flower centers. The layered Cocoa Bean butterfly has Glossy Accents on the body and is attached to the ticket with a glue dot. The ticket is attached with foam tape to give just a little dimension. The Script Thanks die was used with chocolate paper and adhered to the card with a Quickie Glue pen.
Happy Spring!
