These clipboards come together quickly and give you a new way to present sticky notepads!  You can use up all kinds of scraps to make them.  I used chipboard that I cut to the size I wanted and used my Corner Chomper to round the edges.  You could also make them from cracker or cereal boxes or recycle other cardboard packaging for the base.

Choose papers for the front and back, tracing around the base shape.  Cut the two pieces out and adhere to the front and back of the base shape.  I used double-sided tape but any good sticky adhesive will work.  I used two coordinating papers from the Valise collection, inking up the edges with a little brown Distress Ink. Use any papers you like!

On the back of my clipboard, I added some tags cut from the Valise papers, inking the edges before adhering the tags.  I stamped D1307 Woodblock Bird in Jet Black Archival Ink and then punched out a circle around it, inked the edges, and placed it on top of the smaller tag.  Choose any small stamp for this accent piece!

I used double-sided tape on the back of the sticky notes pad (generic brand from Staples) and stuck that to the front of the clipboard.

The big magnet clip (from Staples) just clips on over the top edge of the clipboard.  That's it!  Quick (under ten minutes) and easy peasy!

We made these in my class last Monday at Your Maine Stamper. Several of the class participants planned to make a dozen or more each for stuffing in Christmas stockings or holiday gift baskets.

Happy Stamping!

Took Anne's class last Monday and love these Post It note magnetic holders. I have made more of them at home for gifts. I used my alphabet stamp set and stamped the recipient's name on the base beside the stamp pad which made it a little more personal - very easy and quite impressive. Thanks for this great idea Anne. These are terrific! I use a small cheap clipboard I got in the $1 bin at Staples for my grocery list and it is very handy! These are so much fun - I'll be making some soon. Thanks so much!

Cool. I miss the north east! I love Alaska where I am now, but it is very different. Cool idea! Happy Holidays in Maine!
