It's in the Bag

Hope you can use another idea for gift giving packaging.  I really should be finishing up my Christmas cards, but this is what I'm posting.  What -- yours are already sent?  You sure have me beat.  Here's the gift bag:

SnowflakeGiftBag
This is fairly quick and easy for a last minute project.  The sample uses a craft store bag, but I'm sure you could substitute a generic lunch bag.  Measure your bag and cut a piece of corrogated paper to fit the bottom of the bag - mine is 4-11/16 x 4-7/8.  Die cut the snowflake from a piece of patterned paper 4-1/4 square - hopefully your local stamp store still has some of the snowflake paper, but you could easily substitute the Thistle Distressed dots.  Die cut a topper with your favorite die - this is Cheery Lyn French Flair-Classic.  Die Cut the Museum Tag die out of white card stock.  Stamp We Wish on tag.  Mask sentiment and stamp Peace Collage with VersaMark ink and emboss with white embossing powder.  Using dauber ink tag with VersaMagic Oasis Green (mask is still on).  Attach snowflake and white corrogated layers to bottom of bag.  Attach snowflake sticker to center.  Fold topper in half, punch two holes with Cropadile.  Thread organza ribbon through holes and tie on tag.

Supplies:

  • B1808 We Wish
  • G1411 Peace Collage
  • 98145 Museum Tag Die
  • 98163 Tivoli Snowflake
  • Thistle Distress Dots
  • Memory Box Sparkling Snowflakes jewel sticker
  • Corrogated White Paper
  • White Card stock
  • VersaMagic Oasis Green ink
  • Finger Dauber
  • VersaMark ink
  • White embossing powder
  • Misc. - Ribbon, brown bag, topper die

Hope this is an idea you can use or adapt for what you need.

Here's an exciting announcement for anyone living in or traveling through northwest Ohio -- Baas Junction has been sold but thankfully has been reopened by Melissa Bayer.  The new store is called Bayer's Pampered Stampers and is located about two miles from the old Baas Junction at 1620 Ralston in Toledo.  The phone number is (419) 724-9516.  You'll be able to find your Memory Box stamps and papers there. Stop in and say hi to Melissa if you get a chance.

Thanks for stopping by!
