Beary Merry Christmas
Hi Everyone!
One week till the big day. I am busy, busy, busy with finishing school for the semester, working and getting my holiday cards done. I took time off from the mass production of cards to make a special card for the DH. He loves bear cards. I think the teddy bears are just a bit cutesy for my tastes. As usual Memory Box to the rescue.
I made this stair step card using Dave's famous bears. I stamped Colin Bear D1831 with black on white felt. I die cut him with the matching die 98233. I gently shaded him with a grey colored pencil and paper pieced his scarf with the paper from the Yuletide collection # 10147. I stamped Fred P.Bear C1409 with black ink on white felt and colored him with a tan colored pencil and paper pieced his scarf. The snow on the steps was die cut from the Yuletide paper, using the snowflake border # 98146. I attached the border with a glue stick and sprinkled white glitter over it and it attached wherever their was glue leaking through. I die cut a circle and stamped just the top of Stand of Trees E1759 and colored them with copic markers. I applied liquid pearls to create the snow on the trees. I stamped Christmas Cheery Block E1299 with black ink. With left over pieces of the snow flake border I glued them to the background circle.
Here is close up of the back of the card.
In the hustle and bustle of the holidays take time making a special card for that special someone.
Have a joyous holiday season everyone!
Adorable! Love the stair step with the globe background.
