Boy was I thrilled when I saw the die Dave sent me, Deer Trio 98166. My mind is swirling with ideas for this die. I also used Vintage Christmas Words G1797 and the new 6x6 Yuletide paper collection.

I used a kraft notecard that I embossed with a snowflake folder. I lightly sponged white pigment ink on the snow flakes. I cut a half circle from the brown snowflake paper. I die cut my trio of deer from white sparkly paper. I stamped  "the first snowfall" on a kraft banner with brown ink.

I kept this card clean and simple. I wanted the deer to be the focus of the card. Click on the picture to see how sparkly the deer are. I think this will be my holiday card this year.

Thanks for stopping in at this summer's holiday blitz. Please leave a comment on one of today's posts by 11:59 EST for a chance to win the new 6" x 6" Yuletide paper pack:

I love the simplicity of this card. Can't wait to get this die.

This is absolutely beautiful!

Fortunately, I'm at one of the stores "Prairie Art Stamps and Supplies" in Springfield, IL that received the What's in the Box tremendous items! Just as everyone else has stated "WOW!"

Thank you for the lovely card - you've given me ideas and some would say that's not a good thing (lol!) Gina G. - Halloween Fanatic.

I like designs that are crisp and clean and this card shows that. The snowflake stamp is simple and emphasizes the deer. Very nice!

Simply beautiful! What did you do on the dark blue background? Was that stamped or was it embossed? Can't wait to see the other sneek peeks!
