Harvest Moon Mini Album

DSC_0367a

Welcome to the third day of our Memory Box blog blitz!  Hope you're enjoying all the great ideas and creativity my fellow Design team members have been showing you!

I am a huge Halloween fan so it's no surprise I chose to work with the awesome Halloween themed papers and stamps from this year's What's in the Box release! My theory is that it's never too early to start on those spooky projects.

For the cover of this mini album I used a sheet of 12" x 12" Sleepy Hollow from the Nightfall paper collection. I love the title of the paper since this album will eventually contain pictures from my trip to Sleepy Hollow last year for Halloween.

The tag was made by first stamping the Blank Ticket (G1780) onto cream card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then cut using the matching Blank Ticket die (98213.  Ranger Mustard Seed, Dusty Concord, Stormy Sky and Black Soot Distress inks were then used to add color.  Next, the Harvest Moon (G1804)  image was stamped with Versa Magic's Midnight Black ink.

The last thing added to the cover was the Locina Buckle - you guessed it - cut from the Locina Buckle Die (98184)! The orange ribbon was threaded through the buckle and everything was attached to the cover.

Here's a couple more pages from the album...

The Haunted Mansion (E1801)stamped image and the Wrought Iron fence die (98164)

I was fortunate enough to have Judy Hauffe, manager of Prairie Art Stamps and Supplies in Springfield, IL, to set aside a set of everything so I'll be able to play with all these dies, stamps and papers this weekend.
