I was so excited to see the new What's in The Box stamps, dies and papers! I loved the serene feel to this lovely landscape. I created a small video on how to create the twinkling H2O background. Here is the video:
I created two different backgrounds in the video. My first card uses the main background and the second card uses the second background.
Recipe for card #1:
- Create background piece using Twinkling H2O's. Let dry.
- Stamp Autumn Tree Landscape E1805 using Ranger Black Archival Ink onto background.
- Accent trees and ground with white gel pen to add touches of snow.
- Accent moon with yellow watercolor pencil and glue pen and fine glitter.
- Add touch of glitter snowfall to ground.
- To create the frame: Die cut four pieces of white cardstock using the Meridian die. Cut to size and frame out image.
- The card is cut from soiree cardstock in a z-fold card. Layered with Yuletide papers and white cardstock.
The second card uses the spotty background:
- Stamp Vintage Christmas Words G1797 Image using StaZon - Vibrant Violet on Twinkling H2O background.
- Stamp Elegant Damask randomly using violet ink.
- Stamp Crystal Snowflake using Versamark on Acetate. Heat emboss using silver embossing powder. Cut out.
- Stamp Christmas Ticket C1782 using Versamark on white cardstock. Heat emboss using silver embossing powder.
- Stamp Graceful Deer 98152 using Versamark on white cardstock. Heat emboss using silver embossing powder.
- Accent everything with the lovely Memory Box Jewels.
- Distress edges of background using distressing tool.
- Assemble card and add purple tulle.
Don't forget to stop back later, as there will be a lovely project from Debbie.
