Joy!
Hello Everyone!
When I saw the New Stamps and Dies for "What's in the Box" I fell in love with all of them! It was hard to pick which stamp to use with the "Pop Up Joy" Die, Laura Fisher, one of our teachers here at The Stamp Addict, came up with something simple and elegant.
The first thing she did was cut a sheet of the Shimmer Cardstock Grass in half and scored at 4 1/2 to create at A2 Card. She then lined up the die just above the score line, with the card open and ran it thru her Cuttlebug. She then ran a peice of Mars Shimmer Card Stock thru the Cuttlebug with the same die.
You can see here that both the red and the green have been cut out.
She then cut the red letters out from the bottom where they remain attached, and popped the letters in the green out out at the top. She attached red letters to the green "Joy". She cut a sheet of Frost Shimmer Cardstock to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and attached that to the inside of the front of the card to create the white behind the Joy.
Next she stamped Memory Box's Graceful Deer (E1772), in VersaMark next to the "Pop Up Joy", and Embossed with an Ultra Detail White Embossing Powder.
I hope you enjoyed!
Thanks for the wonderful ideas. I love your site! and have just started becoming a "collector" of Memory Box stamps and papers.

On of my favorite sayings on a Holiday Card --- that and Peace. Now have a new approach for using Joy. Very nice. Connie

I haven't been able to read the blog everyday because my father is in the hospital, but you have given me some good quick ideas to use for Christmas. Thanks again for your blog and since I won the Yuletide paper pack I can get an early start. Thanks very much.
