You Make Me Smile
Welcome to the blog hop that combines two wonderful products: Memory Box and Luminarte's Twinkling H2O's. We will be sharing multiple projects each day for a week, and this is the first post in the Memory Box series. If you want more information on the hop, be sure to check out Laura's previous post.
I decided to create multiple backgrounds using the beautiful Twinkling H20's, water and salt. I covered a sheet of watercolor paper with a layer of water and then added a mix of the gorgeous greens, purple, gold and blue twinkling H20's and sprinkled salt over it. The only downside is the waiting time for the water and salt to dry. After that you need to brush off the dried off salt.
I ended up with three to four different fabulous backgrounds. I took one of them and stamped the gorgeous Tree of Birds G1768 using Ranger Archival Black Ink. The leaves and birds were colored using watercolor pencils. Accent with white gel pen.
Stamp the sentiment Makes Me Smile B1765 using the same ink on the same background. Mount on light green and black cardstock. Tie twine and two buttons as accents.
Have a wonderful Monday!
