There's A New Kid In Town...

Don't we all like getting something new?  Well, have you seen Memory Box's new "At the Zoo" collection? Yes! there are so many new and fresh stamps, papers and even die cuts (coming soon).

Today I am showing a card with a special announcement....A new baby!  In my family it's a grandbaby and he loves giraffes.  Here's a happy way to welcome any little one into the world...

Stamps:

C1738 Cute Giraffe

D1708 Big Banner

B1749 Welcome Little One

C1703 Bitsy Branch (leaf on the side)

Directions:

1. Stamp Bitsy Branch in Brilliance Pearlescent Chocolate; stamp the leaf in Colorbox Key Lime Pie and Tree Frog Green.

2. Stamp Cute Giraffe and color with Prismacolor pencils (Chestnut and Yellow Ochre).  I use Gamsol (odorless mineral spirits) to blend the colors.

3. Stamp the Big Banner on Mocha and Squash Gingham paper in Pearlescent Chocolate ink.  Carefully cut around the scallops on the Mocha paper and layer the Gingham on top.

4. Layer the card with Key Lime Dots and Squash Gingham panels.  Adhere layers to a Mango notecard. (Wow, these paper and ink names are making me hungry)

Note: These new patterned papers are incredible.  There are 12 colors in 4 different patterns...Gingham, Dots, Distressed Dots and Moroccan...that's 48 new papers and you need them ALL!  I don't know how I have survived without them in the past.  Oh, and there are 2 more New colors coming very soon.  It just gets better and better here at Memory Box.

5. Attach the brown gingham ribbon loop and decorative buttons threaded with rough twine.

6. Include the Baby facts on the inside of the card and let everyone know "There's a new Kid in Town".

There will be new Memory Box arrivals coming soon to your local store and pay close attention to  our blogs each day for creative ideas and sneak peeks! I promise, you will love it all.

We all enjoyed your participation last week during our Blog Blitz---thanks for stopping by!

Happy Friday!
