Lunch Bag Notes
Lately I have been obsessed by making notecards. You would think I just invented them! I love them! Small little cards that just inspire my creativity and as a bonus make great gifts for folks! Not only do I stretch myself with the cards themselves but I get to create a holder for them.
I had a ton of lunch bags left over from another project and pulled them out and thought- WOW this just might work. As you can see I made a cute purse from the lunch bag to hold my cards.
Before I get into the bag itself here are the note cards. The multi colors of the 12X12 Neighborhood Cafe paper inspired the note cards.
The stamps I used for this project are from the Spring Symphony Collection. I used a variety of inks to match the cards themselves.
Soooo..... how to make the lunch bag purse.
Start with a standard lunch bag and cut down to 4 inches.
Cut the Neighborhood Cafe paper to 4X5 inches and adhere to one side of your bag.
Next cut the paper to 8X5 inches and score at 4 inches and then at 5.5 inches. Adhere to the other side of your lunch bag and fold score lines.
To add handle just punch a hold on either end of the middle fold and add a ribbon.
Optional is to cut a partial circle form the front of the bag to allow the cards to peep through.
Finally make a medallion for the front of the purse. Use a wee bit of velcro to allow the front to close.
Think of all the possibilities for this idea. Stop over at my blog-The Creative Studio and check out another version of this idea.
Don't forget the BIG Memory Box/ Creative Imaginations blog hop starts on Monday April 4rth!! check the blog throughout the day for various postings using Twinkling H2O's.
Great project and I love the colors of the note cards. Now I'll have to pick up some lunch bags

Your note cards are great but the bag for the cards is so clever. Good job on the tutorial. It is a saver.

I make cards for my daughters for Christmas and this would be a great way to package them. I'm bookmarking this for sure!
