Full Moon

P1010428lll

I love the cat in the Night Cat stamp. We always had black cats growing up and this sweet image reminded me of them.  I thought wouldn't it be fun to put the cat and the lamppost in front of a beautiful harvest moon.

Recipe:

  1. Cut 4 1/2" circle from Perched paper.
  2. Cut 5 1/4" x 2 1/2", 5 1/4" x 1 1/4" form Flicker Pattern Paper.
  3. Cut 1 1/2" off the front of a Jack O Lantern A2 card.
  4. Attach Flicker Pattern paper to Card front.
  5. Attach cut piece of card front to inside of card.
  6. Stamp Night Cat (E1403) on left side of circle using Versafine Black Onyx.
  7. Stamp Happy Halloween (B1391) sentiment along the lamppost  using black pigment ink.
  8. Stamp Budding Branch (D1360) using black pigment ink multiple times along right side of the moon.
  9. Attach circle to front of card.
  10. Mask card front to form a funnel shape to sponge on a little orange die ink (Rangers Distress Inks - Wild Honey)  to highlight a stream of light from the lamppost.  Smear on a little Ranger Orange Stickles to add a little sparkle to the light.

This is one of the cards I will be teaching at Hannah's in Antioch, IL  in August.
