The Fastest, Easiest Card Ever!

The Classic Pear Die and the coversheet from the Nightfall 6x6 Set are perfect together...you'll have a colorful, multi-patterned diecut in less than a minute.  Cut the leaf from Dill Cardstock.  Cut the stem from scrap cardboard - brownie points for up-cycling both your coversheet and scrap cardboard!  

Stamp Happy Fall on Mango Distressed Dots with Khaki Green and ink the edges with Pumpkin Pie.

Attach everything to a Jack o' Lantern Notecard - use foam dots for the greeting - there's your card! It's even faster than adhering strips of washi tape.  You can get a pair of pears from each coversheet - and have two cards in just a few minutes.

A Spider Symphony

Does anyone else save the "background" 6x6 prints till the very end because they're too special to use for just any card?  I do - and here's an easy way to use the great music sheet print from the Nightfall 6x6 Set.

Just diecut spiders using the Creepy Spider and Dangling Spider Dies and attach them to the background.  That's it - done!

Bubble, Bubble

The Loopy Rings Die 98370 creates a fun background for the Bubbling Pot C1881 here. Be sure to save the three solid dots that are cut out - glue them over some of the intricate rings to secure the rings to the background.

Here's another tip - diecut two centers from the Gothic Rosette and Center set, one from the Nightfall print and another one from scrap cardboard.   Secure the rosette between the two centers to keep it from popping up while the glue is setting up.  The cardboard center on the back of the rosette also makes it easier to attach the rosette to the background.  

Big thanks to everyone who took the Merry and Bright and Fall Garden Greetings classes at the Bellevue Impress last weekend.  We had a great time using the new Poppystamps dies, just in time for our holiday projects!

Creepy (big) and Dangling (smaller) Spiders hang from the Small Creepy Web Frame here.  They're highlighted against the Nightfall 6x6" print cut with the Debutante Die.  Dave's also designed a larger Creepy Web Frame 98408 and a Small Debutante Frame 98430 so you can mix and match the different sizes.

Directions

• Use the Metal Adapter Plate and the plates required for thin metal dies to cut Small Creepy Web Frame from white cardstock
• Cut the background from the Nightfall print with the Debutante Frame
• Cut the spiders from black cardstock
• Stamp Vertical Happy Halloween on Squash Cardstock with Black
• Emboss it with detail clear powder, ink the edges and heat-set the edges
• Assemble the card, using foam dots for the spiders
• Coordinate the card with a Mango Envelope 

Diecut a bunch of extra spiders and tape them to your windows - and doorbell - to surprise the neighborhood trick or treaters too!
