It's time to start sharing ideas featuring our new release of dies and stamps - right on schedule for graduation, Father's Day, weddings and summer projects. You're also invited to join us for a Design Team Blitz on our Outside the Box blog this week - ideas, inspiration...and prizes! Upload a project featuring a Memory Box Die on our Flickr page - you could win a prize there too.
Leaf Swirl 98345 (on the left) is an overlay designed to coordinate with Swirly Tree 98346. The Makes Me Smile Combo B1765 has a tiny ladybug stamp attached to its side too. The Double Ticket Die 98104 is a classic favorite from an earlier release.
Diecutting intricate designs like these is easy with the Memory Box Metal Adapter Plate, Big Kick, Multipurpose Platform and 2 clear cutting plates. Here's the "stack" I use:
- Multipurpose Platform
- Metal Adapter Plate
- Cutting Plate
- Die - face up
- Cardstock (lightly taped to the die)
- Cutting Plate
The Swirly Tree and Leaf Swirl are must-haves - you'll love them! Imagine them with Bubblegum, Taffy or Cherry Blossom Cardstock on a spring card. Or Mango Cardstock for a Halloween card. Glittered white cardstock turns it into a perfect holiday tree.
I have seen this die at our local store, but did not realize how stunning a card can look using the tree die with the leaves punched out of the card itself! Wow! I'm going to purchase this die now that I see how amazing the result is! Thanks for the inspiration!

Hi Jean, I absolutely love your cards! Would it be OK for me to use your cards on our website (we sell all the Memory Box dies and most of the stamps). Of course, you will be given credit and I'll also try to add a link to your blog in exchange. Let me know!
