OK - back to today's project - meet Colin Bear (D1831) and his matching die (98233) from the new Polar Bear Studio release,  on a rich red background from the Mistletoe 6x6 Set.  His scarf is stamped on red felt, from Impress, adding toasty-warm texture to this holiday card.  A quick Christmas Ticket (C1782) greeting diecut with Bistro Label (98120) and Diamond Jewel Stickers add the finishing touches.

A New Release, A Holiday Event and Classes

Saturday October 15th is the BIG day...it's the annual Impress Winter Holiday Event at Tukwila, Bellevue Square and University Village.  Be among the first 25 people there when the doors open at 9:30 AM - and receive a special swag bag filled with wonderful goodies.

Dave's newest Memory Box stamps and dies will be featured at tomorrow's event too - with wonderful displays and samples to inspire you. Beautiful colors, creative ideas, and everything you'll need to enhance your cards, gifts, entertaining and decorating projects.  Preview the great new products here.

Then on Sunday October 16th from 11:30-2:30 at the Tukwila Impress - it's the Memory Box Moments Calendar class.  We'll be making the easel calendar set shown above - 12 monthly frames to display on a simple foldable easel. Great for mailing, gift-exchanges, and perfect for someone who has everything. Please reserve a space in advance for the class by calling (206) 901.9101. I'd love to have you in my classes but can't always accommodate students who call the morning of the class, or arrive without calling ahead to sign up for the class.

And - we've added a Tricks and Treats class at the Bellevue Square Impress - on Monday, October 17th from 2:30-5:30. Make either 8 cards - or a chipboard book with 8 designs. Please call the store at 425 453.2748 to select either the cards or the book, and register in advance for this class  by October 15th so I'll have a packet of supplies for you. There were 3 seats left when I talked with Alissa there on the 14th.

Farewell to Summer

Butterflies aren't necessarily "autumn-y" - but that's no reason to let your Maribelle Butterfly Die 98156 and the coordinating Selena Butterfly Die 98159 hibernate till next summer.  

They're used here with the great prints from the Blackbird 6x6 Set - and an overlay of Soiree Copper Shimmer Cardstock.  Save some of the little cutouts - then place them back into the intricate Maribelle diecut for added detail.

Memory Box dies, stamps and papers have become the perfect "go-to" combination for my projects and classes - like a design trilogy.  We'll be using a ton of them this weekend in my Memory Box classes at Impress - just ask Ann, one of the Impress owners, how long my supply lists are!  I love using my stamps and dies over and over again - in more ways than one - so they become a great value once you own them.  Here's a preview of 4 of the 12 monthly frames we'll be making for our easel calendar at the Bellevue store in Saturday's Memory Box Moments Calendar class...

Sunday's class at the Tukwila Impress features the wonderful Halloween and Fall stamps, papers and dies.
