I know Dave didn't intend to have his beautiful Cocoa Bean Butterfly (C1714) punched and re-worked this way. But...handcutting three of them perfectly would have been too much of a challenge for me today, so I took a shortcut and used my "vintage" EK Success butterfly punch. It's one of the original chunky "whale-shaped" punches - not the cool sleek gray ones they sell now - but any butterfly punch will work.
They're punched from the bright, happy, best-selling Brioche 6x6 prints, then edged with the new ColorBox Archival Dye Mudslide ink. It's one of 24 great colors, now available in fullsize inkpads. Cookie Dough and Putty are used here too.
Wow, love this card composition! Great idea for the butterfly punch. Love the color combo and the stamps you used behind the word journey. Great card!

What could be more beautiful.... butterflies and Memory Box paper! I am going to dig out all my old punches looking for butterflies. Hope I can find one close to the same size! Great tip.
