Here's a hot pink Valentine idea featuring our new Daphne Heart (E1422) and Valentines Duo (B1424) stamps and prints from the Pixie 6x6 Set. The heart's shimmery sparkle is complemented by Soiree Azalea Shimmer Cardstock and Hot Pink Pearl Stickers.
There's just something about Valentine cards that gives us an excuse to combine hot colors, pastels, rich backgrounds - and glitter, glitter, glitter. That's exactly what we'll be doing in the Valentines by Design class at the Tukwila Impress this Sunday, January 9th.
We're triple-dipping that day - making 6 colorful cards, introducing the Valentine Delights release and finally using some new stamps and papers Dave created for the 2011 What's in the Box secret release. There's something for everyone in the collection - with stamps that are crisply contemporary, softly vintage or whimsically fun. You'll love the new coordinated papers too - an entire palette of 6x6, 12x12 and 8.5x11" prints.
Impress is also introducing some beautiful colors of Clearsnap Glitters and a great embossing powder that adds both sparkly highlights and an opalescent shimmer to stamped images. Does that actually make it a quadruple-dipping day?
Here's just a peek at what to expect - we'll make 6 cards, including a "guy-card" for your sweetie(s). You've already seen the Valentine images, but look carefully, because I've included glimpses of the newest papers and stamps too.
I usually bring some of my blog cards to share after the class. I hope they''ll give you a few more ideas for multi-tasking the featured products.
I’ve reading with full of interest. He’s certainly raised my awareness.
