I went to buy a graduation card for a very special graduate today. (Yes, I buy cards when I'm in a real time crunch, like I am this week.) It was interesting to see that guy grad cards have soaring birds and bright stars - and girl grad cards have flowers and pretty colors.
Here's a card that combines several of those elements. It's for a smart, sweet, ambitious, beautiful and caring person who's persevered, with her Mom, through some stressful situations. The card features our bold new Soaring Bird (C1366) taking flight on a Jubilee 6x6 print. A simple punched flower, like the yellow and white blossoms on the print, and Canary Yellow Jewel Stickers highlight the background of blues and greens.
Take a peek at two of the four cards we're making in the Guy Cards class at the Tukwila Impress on Monday May 31st - it's a holiday. We'll stamp our own custom paper for the little origami shirt - and fold a pair of cargo shorts to complete the outfit. If your guy is doesn't like cargo pants - no problem, I'll show you how to fold a him a pair of regular pants. Memory Box stamps and papers (Mocha, Bayou, Goldfish, Truffle, Chocolate, Aqua, Silver and Holly Berry are shown here) are featured in this class. I did the class at the Bellevue store last weekend - and had a great time - hope everyone else did too!
