Poppy Border (D1358) is such a versatile design. It's great on watercolored backgrounds, on Memory Box prints, or on glossy resist backgrounds. You can also stamp it over a larger background stamp to create a collage - or add a little butterfly like this one from our Happiest Birthday combo stamp. The butterfly is attached to the side of the greeting stamp - making it easy to use, and impossible to lose. Our Enchanted 6x6 Set and Flowerbud 12x12 print are featured on this card. There are thousands of stamps, styles and themes to chose from. I have stamps which I have never - and will never - use. Or a few that I used once or twice, not because I really liked them, but because I bought them. They will be donated, or garage-saled this summer as I try to reduce my stash of supplies. And then I have stamps like the two featured here - which I'll continue to use over and over again because of their classic, timeless designs.
Here's Happiest Birthday again - with an origami swan on a card we'll be making in the ArtPaper Express class at the University Village Impress on Sunday. We'll combine stamps and imported artpapers -and layer them on colorful cards in an array of different designs. Create a scrunched paper flower, like the one in the background - and you have a quick summer card.
