Spring is In the Air

Birds in the Vines, the Frond  6x6 Set and Grass Green Jewel Stickers greet spring on a shimmery Amethyst card. The combination of greens, blues and lavenders has been around for a while - brighten it up with layered papers, chalks and Jewel Stickers to add dimension and a bit of sparkle.

Dave is not one to play mind games - but just about the time I've memorized the prints in the current 6x6 Sets - we start getting little glimpses of the new  papers and stamps he's about to introduce.  More beautiful colors, prints and patterns to memorize - I love it!  They're much better than the little word games and puzzles I need to keep my aging mind actively challenged - and so much prettier too. Spring Flight

 

Colorful butterflies, a simple greeting, Deep Lagoon Jewel Stickers and a border punch create a quick and easy card to celebrate the change of seasons.  And what a change of seasons it's been here - beautiful clear skies, a quick hailstorm, thunder, rain and then a picture-perfect sunny afternoon - all on one day!

I used my long-forgotten Caribbean Sea Kaleidacolor Inkpad here. The combination of quick-drying dye inks and great colors adds new meaning to the term "instant gratification."   If you love butterflies as much as I do, be sure your favorite Retailer has reserved their Enchanted Butterfly release - it'll be available in a few weeks.
