Here's a peek at my first Memory Box class of the new decade..."LoveNotes" - a chipboard book class at the Tukwila Impress on Saturday, January 9th. We'll create six double-sided pages filled with stamped images and papers from the Valentine's Studio Collection - mixed and matched with other great stamps and our favorite Memory Box papers, Jewel and Pearl Stickers. The 1st, 3rd and 5th pages shown here are from our new Gossamer 6x6 Set.
There's also a simple origami heart of silkscreened Washi paper - and a fun little foil heart from a Hershey Kisses wrapper. (We'll have to eat the chocolates to recycle the wrappers - that's on the agenda too.)
I'm hoping the book will be more than just a pretty keepsake for those already signed up. It's designed to be practical too, with romantic quotes and 12 card ideas in motifs that are sweet, pretty, whimsical or softly nostalgic. They can also be used for other romantic occasions, or as inspirational messages sitting on a sunny windowsill, or on your desk.
We also have a new blog - Outside the Box - featuring ideas and inspiration from our National Design Team of Memory Box instructors across the country. Visit it here, and add it to your list of favorites.
