With Spring in the air, butterflies dancing around our yard, and flowers blooming, I thought it would be fun to create a springtime card. With the newest Spring Symphony release from Memory Box, there are many new stamps to create just the perfect springtime card! And since there are so many stamps, I decided to use five of them on this card!
Papers: Memory Box Minuet, Memory Box sage notecard
Stamp Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink broken china, Memento tuxedo black
Stamps: Memory Box Miracles of Springtime B1766, Memory Box Butterfly Shadow A1745, Memory Box Spiral Butterfly A1744, Memory Box Flower Shadow A1742, Memory Box Spiral Flower A1743
Embellishments: Memory Box Halloween jewels (for butterfly body), Memory Box 14 karat pearls, cork from Micheal's, Tim Holtz 'on the fence' die
To create the card, I stamped the butterfly shadow and the flower shadow using teal distress inks. Then I used Memento tuxedo black to stamp the outlines on top of each. After cutting them out, I used Memory Box jewels and pearls on the butterfly and the flowers. The cork fence was a fun addition to add a different texture to the card.
I hope you enjoy my quick creation for today! I am hoping to post a layout later this week! :) I am having layout withdrawals again. Have a great Wednesday!
