Another "Jubilee" Layout

The other day I showed you a 9x9 layout I created with both Memory Box Jubilee and Enchanted papers.  If you missed that post, please look here.  :)  Today, I want to share another layout with you.  This layout is for a study and album I am creating.  The differences between the layouts are:

**This layout is a 6x6 whereas the other layout was a 9x9.
**This layout is "photo free" and the other has photos.
**This layout uses only the Memory Box Jubilee patterned papers and the other layout used both Jubilee and Enchanted papers.
 

Papers:  Memory Box Jubilee, Bazzill cs
Stamp Ink:  SU creamy caramel
Embellishments:  Memory Box pistachio green jewel stickers, My Mind's Eye journaling card, misc. cross charm, Basic Grey Kioshi chip alpha stickers, Hero Arts light green pearl and flowers, hemp from Hobby Lobby, misc. leaf trim, sewing machine

On this layout I did more distressing, sewing, and inking, and I also added the wonderful Memory Box Pistachio jewels to the center of most of the flowers.  I also added them as accents to the corners of the page.  I love the teal in the paper but for my accents I chose to draw out the more subtle colors of the paper--greens and whites.  My journaling card has a bit of the "red/orange" in it too so that draws out another color you find in the pretty Jubilee paper.  I really love these patterned papers, and I hope you have had a chance to play with them.  If not, you will want to grab them up before they are gone!  Enjoy, and see you next week with our new 2010 What's in the Box Holiday release previews!  

Finally A Layout!

I create 6x6 layouts at least twice a month; however, they don't contain any pictures. :)  Yes, they are layouts with journaling only.  Well, my scrapbook friends on another site have a sketch challenge going on, and I decided to participate!  Oh my, it felt so good to create a layout with photos!  I really need to make myself do more "photo-containing" layouts.  Here is what I created using the new and yummy Memory Box 12x12 Jubilee and Enchanted papers:

  

Papers:  Memory Box dill cardstock, Memory Box Enchanted, Memory Box Jubilee, Bazzill cardstock
Stamp Ink:  SU creamy caramel, SU old olive, VersaMark, Ranger clear EP
Stamp:  Memory Box Butterfly Collage E1060
Embellishments: Martha Stewart layered arches border punch, Martha Stewart chrysanthemum punch, Memory Box pistachio green jewel stickers, Hero Arts flowers, Basic Grey Kioshi chip stickers, Paper Trey Ink buttons, misc. string, sewing machine

My layout is a 9x9 instead of a 12x12 so I just cut the papers down as needed. I also used one of my favorite Memory Box stamps--Butterfly Collage {E1060}.  I stamped and embossed the butterflies then cut them out to add to my layout. I also used the same stamp on the punched flower.  Can you see it ever so slightly (it's the writing on the flower)?
