This gorgeous card was created by PeggyO!  She used one of the new Memory Box releases--the Clear Birdie set {CL133}, and look how she used added the sea shells.  Too fun!  Here is what Peggy said she used:

Hi Patter,
I used the new Memory Box Clear Stamps, Little Birdie. Blue Poppy Paper, Iris Biscotti Paper, Brown Scalloped Notecard, Copic Markers,Y38, B41, BG10, W2, Tombo Marker 098, Deep Lagoon Jewel Stickers, Sahara Sand Versa Magic for edging and seashells for embellishments.. The bird was stamped with Stone Gray StazOn and just a little note was stamped with Timber Brown StazOn.

Memorial Day Sketch & Contest!

Happy Memorial Day!  And thank you to all of you that have served our country, and thank you to those of you that have had family members serve. I personally know the sacrifices a family makes when a loved one is serving!  Blessings to each of you!

So for today, I thought I would share a new sketch and hold a little contest!  First, here is your sketch:
 
Now what do you need to do with this sketch?  You need to create a card, tag, layout, or altered item using this sketch.  You also need to use at least ONE Memory Box product (stamp, paper, jewels, pearls, etc.) on your creation, and it must be listed in your product list.

What will one lucky person win?  A 6x6 pack of Memory Box paper.  You can see them all here!  Aren't they yummy?  Now I don't know which one you will receive as Dave will pick something out from the warehouse but believe me, they are ALL yummy!

How do you enter?  Post a link to your creation here in the comment section by Friday, May 29th, at 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time.  I will pick one amazing creation and announce our winner on Saturday.  Please note that you must include a product list with your entry, and there is a limit of 2 entries per person.  If you look here on my blog, you will see how I include my product list underneath each creation.  That is what I am looking for, and remember, you list must include the Memory Box item you used on your creation.

Blinkie Winner!

Yes, More Contest Entries! :)

Are you ready to see another round of contest entries?  Okay, sit back, and enjoy!  I know I have as they have come in!

Here is an entry from Bibiana.  I love how she created the three boxes at the bottom of her card.  Each has its own design with scoring and coloring.  The corduroy trim is very fun too. She used the Memory Box Tufted Owl {D1255} and the Woodland Vine {C1032} stamps.  She also used Memory Box Poppy Finch papers.  The color scheme is wonderful here.  Gorgeous card Bibiana!
 
Morag completed a layout for the contest. I loved seeing people create layouts with the sketch.  Look how she used the three strips of Memory Box Fernbrae papers for the three spaces from the sketch. Just wonderful! Definitely great colors for her black and white photo.  Wonderful layout!

Here is a card submitted by Anne.  She used a Memory Box white card, and then created a fun design in the center of her card with fun dimension.  This card would brighten someones day. So fun!
 
Charlene created this stunning card using the Memory Box Tufted Owl {D1255} and the Owlette {B1254} stamps. Such an adorable and beautiful scene she created here!  She also used three strips of paper where the three boxes were on the sketch.  Charlene said "I used the gamsol technique of blending. Love these owl stamps!" I love the owl stamps too Charlene! Beautiful and fun!
 
Tiffany has lots of fun things here on her card. I love all of the birds, trees, and buttons. Very fun!  Tiffany said "I was able to use the 'Of A Feather CL125' clear stamps for this project, which my brother's girlfriend got me for my birthday! I love, love, love them." Such a great and fun card, Tiffany!
 
Elaine created this soft and pretty card using Memory Box Sweetbay papers and Memory Box stamps. The touch of pink in her flower is a wonderful touch to her card!  Beautiful Elaine!

More Contest Entries!

Happy Thursday everyone! I thought it would be fun to share some more contest entries with you!  I know I have really enjoyed looking at them. I hope you have too!

Here is an entry from Krysten.  Look how she sectioned off the bottom portion of her card with the green paper through the middle.  What a fun way to interpret the sketch!  And love her color scheme along with one of my favorite bird stamp, the Memory Box Swirled Bird {C1047}. So beautiful!
 
We had another entry from Peggy.  Peggy used the butterfly from the Memory Box Butterfly Kisses Clear Stamp Set {CL129}.  Yes, Memory Box has clear stamp sets too incase you didn't realize that! :)  Peggy also used the Memory Box Rhubarb Tart papers {10046}.  Such a beautiful card with fun dimension!
 
Another card was sent to us from Barbara.  Look how she used the three parts of the sketch to make a tennis court.  Now how fun is that? :) Then she used the Memory Box Butterfield papers {10042} to create the sky.  Too fun!  She also used the Memory Tennis Bear {C983} stamp to create her scene. Such a fun card!

And we also have a card from Sheryl.  Sheryl also used the Memory Box Butterfield papers {10042} to create the sky for her bird scene!  And look how she added the leaves from the Memory Box Perched Chick {C1256} stamp to the Memory Box Eclipse Tree {C1249} stamp. It looks like she also used pop dots of some sort to her top tree to give it dimension. I love the entire scene and card!
 
Chrisi sent us a card using the following stamps from Memory Box:  You're the Sunshine {B1213} stamp and Nutty Squirrel {D1251}. I love how she put the second acron across the card. Almost like the squirrel has to run and get it!  So cute!  Chrisi said "Thanks for having such great contests on your blogs. LOVE IT!" Thank you Chrisi!  I know I am having fun looking at each entry!

Contest Entries {Wow}!

Wow, I have SO enjoyed looking at everyone's entries as they have come in!  I thought it might be fun over the course of this next week to share the submissions with you. They are so inspiring, beautiful, and creative!

Now if you remember, the rules for my contest were to create a card, layout, tag, or altered piece using this sketch along with Memory Box papers and/or stamps.
   
One of our entries came from Rosemary.  I love how she used the Memory Box Brandywine papers and the Pear Collage {E923} stamp.  Here is what Rosemary said about her card--"I stamped the image on paper, then stamped the image a second time and cut out the pear. Popped the pear on top of first image."  It really turned out beautiful, Rosemary.
 
Another entry came from Laura.  I love how she chose to do a layout with the sketch! Laura used the Memory Box Flutter Chick {B1250} stamp and the Good Things {B1248} stamp for her page.  Both of these stamps worked perfectly for her page. I also love how she added the torn papers and put her title at an angle!  And what a cutie pie her son is!!!  Awesome page Laura!
 
This entry comes from Shelly.  Here is what Shelly said about her entry--"Well my mom's birthday is tomorrow, and I hadn't made her card yet until I saw the sketch then I knew what cricut cuts I would use. :) And of course I already knew I was going to use my favorite papers. For this, I used papers from the Memory Box Sugar Drop Collection. These are my ALL~TIME favorite MB papers. I really really really just adore this set the most!" I just love how Shelly cut out and layered all of the flowers and butterflies with the Memory Box papers. Beautiful!
 
 
And the last entry I will share with you today comes from Amy.  I love how Amy created a card set.  Such a great idea.  Amy used Memory Box Vanilla Bean cards for each one along with the following Memory Box stamps:  Dandelion {D1046} and Vintage Garden clear stamp set {CL123}.  Wonderful card set Amy!
