Okay, normally I despise the time changes we have each year. As I get older, my body just does not handle it well. Anyway, this morning I found out that I might actually find it to be beneficial. I got up at 4:15 a.m. and actually created a card. It was done before the rest of the family got up. I think I might like this! Now the only disadvantage is that the photos don't come out so well. And unfortunately it is really cloudy here today so even if I redid the photos now, they still wouldn't end up great. Anyway, here is this morning's creation:
Memory Box Papers: Pool cs, Brioche 6x6 paper pack
Dies: Memory Box Pristine Border die, Poppystamps Lorelai Leaf die
Stamps: Memory Box Joy Outline A1379
Stamp Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink peacock feathers
Embellishments: hand-dyed Hug Snug seam binding, Mister Huey's bonny blue mist, Paper Trey Ink button, May Arts twine, Hobby Lobby doily, misc. ticket, sewing machine
My inspiration was this bow I created earlier this week for a video I did on how to tie a crinkle bow. You can see that video here. Anyway, once I had the bow, I knew I wanted to use Memory Box pool paper and the Brioche 6x6 paper pack. I also used the Memory Box Joy Outline stamp and the Memory Box Pristine Border die along with the Poppystamps Lorelai Leaf die.
So, if you are having trouble like me with the time change, try getting up and creating! It really has made the day start out on a great note today! Thanks for stopping by! :)
This card is lovely, Patter! Thanks for teaching us how to tie that fun bow!! I must order some Hug Snug.
