Oh my goodness, what a weekend I have had! I spent a good part of Saturday afternoon and evening painting and playing. I have not created like this in 6 months because of the move. It felt so wonderful to just create and make a mess.
I love using Memory Box stamps on my art journal pages. There are SO many that work great on these types of pages. Actually I think you could probably use any Memory Box stamp on an art journal page and they would work great! I chose 4 stamps to work with this weekend:
*Mail Definitions Background G1839
*Alpha Background E996
I ended up creating 6 pages but I will just share a couple here so you can see how well the stamps work. Here is a page using the Mail Definitions Background and the Vintage Record Sheet.
And here is a page using Birch Branch Print G1720 and Alpha Background E996:
These pages will actually be covers for gift journals I am making. They will be folded in half and filled with journaling papers. These are really fun to do, and using the Memory Box stamps with Archival ink makes it even more fun! I hope you have enjoyed these and that you might try using your Memory Box stamps on your mixed media creations! Enjoy!
Patter - I love this and want to learn to art journal. I will be looking for a class in Huntersville.I cannot make the class November the 4th, due to previous commitments. If you are holding classes anywhere else, please let me know and I will try to make it.
Sincerely, Dana
