I don't know about you but I don't like to let anything go to waste. As I was cutting out all of the die cuts for the class I am teaching tomorrow, I realized there would be a lot of frames wasted. Oh my! So, today I want to show you how to use those frames instead of throwing them away. First, here is a look at the frames left over from the Poppystamps Splendor Frame that I will use in class tomorrow:
I decided to recyle the frame and create a card with it. Here is how the card turned out:
Memory Box Papers: meadow nc, mocha cs (for rosette), Pixie, and Bubblegum gingham
Stamp Ink: Jenni Bowlin brown sugar
Stamp: Memory Box Very Best B1359
Embellishments: Poppystamps Splendor Frame die, Memory Box gothic rosette and center die, Paper Trey Ink button and twine, Deluxe Designs chipboard flower, Jenni Bowlin stick candy acrylic paint
I inked the inside and outside edges of the frame so that it would stand out a bit against the Memory Box Pixie paper and the notecard. I layered the Pixie paper behind the frame and placed the entire layered piece on the meadow notecard. Then I added a few embellishments to finish with the Memory Box Very Best {B1359} sentiment stamp. Super quick, and the frame has been saved. Everyone in class will actually get the frame with their card supplies so that they can create another card at home. I just couldn't throw all of those frames away!
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy today's card!
