A {Haunted} Card

Hello everyone! Well, I am back from my vacation and posting another Halloween card for you. I am also going to try and get the video posted that I took earlier in the month but can't seem to get to post with the latest upgrade. Ugh! Anyway, for today, I have this "haunted" card for you:


Papers:  Memory Box Nightfall and licorice dot cs; Paper Trey Ink cs
Stamp Ink:  Tim Holtz Distress Ink fired brick, wild honey, scattered straw, & black soot; Ranger clear ep
Stamp:  Memory Box Vintage Halloween Words G1802
Embellishments: Memory Box classic scallop die, Tim Holtz tiny attacher, misc. twine

I  used the new Memory Box Vintage Halloween Words stamp {G1802} for the center of the card. I stamped the word "haunted houses" again using fired brick ink and attached with pop dots to make it stand out a bit. You could certainly choose any of the words on the stamp to highlight and pop out! I also layered the licorice dot paper with several of the designs from the Nightfall 6x6 paper pack. This was fun and simple and certainly you could use scraps to complete this card. I never like to leave anything to waste. :) Well, I hope you have enjoyed today's creation. A Little Halloween Fun

So, last week I posted some Fall cards: Autumn Colors and A Realistic Fall Leaf. Today, I thought I would share the first of two Halloween cards I have created for you. This particular card uses 3 of the new Halloween stamps:

**Memory Box Cat and Moon B1798
**Spooky Halloween B1807

I used portions of the Haunted Mansion and Cat and Moon stamps to create the squares on the right-hand side of my card:

Stamp Ink:  Tim Holtz Distress Ink black soot
Stamp:  Memory Box Haunted Mansion E1801, Memory Box Cat and Moon B1798, Spooky Halloween B1807
Embellishments: Prismacolor Pencil goldenrod, Glossy Accents, Dove blending pen, Tim Holtz walnut distress stain, Robin's Nest dew drops black, misc. ribbon

Autumn's Colors

Okay, so in my last post I said I would post a new video. Well, it seems my Windows Live did an update, and now I am having trouble uploading the video. I have had the video done for a week, and it's frustrating I can't share it with you yet. We are working on it, and as soon as I can upload it, I will!!! Be on the lookout--hopefully sooner than later!

So, in the meantime, I thought I would share a Fall card I created using the new Autumn Leaf Collage stamp {G1795}. We are on our 45+ day over 100 degrees so thinking about Fall and cooler weather was nice! A girl can dream right! :) Anyway, this is a card we will be making in my September 17th class at Stamp Salado. So, I hope if you are in the area that you will join me for some card making fun!
