So, do you remember using paint swatches on your cards and/or layouts? It used to be "the thing." I used a few on my layouts but never cards. Well, yesterday as I was creating, I decided to have some fun and put one on a card with the new Memory Box Valise papers! Here is how my card turned out:
Papers: Memory Box Valise, Memory Box kraft notecard, X-Press It cs
Stamp Ink: Memento tuxedo black, Palette Ink black
Stamps: Memory Box Make Me Smile B1765, Memory Box Cocoa Bean Butterfly C1714
Copics: Y21, Y26, Y28
Embellishments: Memory Box classic scallop die, Distress Stickles frayed burlap, burlap from A Millon Memories, misc. paint swatch, sewing machine
To color the Cocoa Bean Butterfly {C1714} stamp, I used my Copic markers. Here are the colors I used. To see how I labeled my Ciao markers, feel free to see my post here.
I also used the Memory Box Classic Scallop die and finished off the card with the Memory Box Make Me Smile {B1765} sentiment stamp.
I hope you have enjoyed today's little card. So, grab your Memory Box papers and stamps, a paint swatch, and have some fun! Have a great weekend!
