Today, I wanted to show you how I used the Gorgeous Mini Bloom {B1761} stamp with the Gorgeous Bloom {E1760} stamp to create a layered flower.
First, I stamped each image twice onto a piece of Memory Box Sheet Music 12x12 paper. I then cut them out. The Gorgeous Bloom image I cut out along the outer lines. The second Gorgeous Bloom image, I cut along one of the inner lines. I did that also with the Mini Blooms. Once I cut them out, I spritzed them with water and crumpled them up. Yes, I truly wadded them up! :) Then I opened them up and dried them with my heat tool. When drying small images, make sure you use a clothes pin to hold your image or you will burn your fingers.
After they dried, I inked the edges, and layered them to make my flower. Simple yet fun! I then stamped the new Makes Me Smile {B1765} stamp onto a piece of cork to create my background with sentiment. Here is how my card turned out:
Papers: Memory Box Sheet Music, Memory Box kraft notecard
Stamp Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink walnut stain, Memento rich cocoa
Stamp: Memory Box Make Me Smile B1765, Memory Box Gorgeous Mini Bloom B1761, Memory Box Gorgeous Bloom E1760
Embellishments: Paper Trey Ink button, lace from A Millon Memories, cork from Micheal's, SU Top Note die
