I love the Memory Box Pear Collage stamp {E923}. The script on it says things like: "thankful for all," "the blessings we receive," "the comfort of family," "Thanksgiving reminds us," and "this we give thanks." That's all I can read but such wonderful words behind the pear. As I played with this stamp, I couldn't figure out if I wanted to go bold or soft so I did both! Also, on both cards, I used the Memory Box 6x6 Blackbird papers.
For the bold card, I used the inking technique I shared in this post here for my Spooky Collage card. I think the ink came about a bit too bold but I figure some may like it. :) I didn't have any different inks to use so it is what it is. :)
Then because it turned out bolder than I wanted, I decided to sponge some inks onto a piece of Opal Soiree paper. I like it but maybe I will do the sponging a bit darker next time. Hmmm, just couldn't get these right--either I was too bold or too light! LOL!
On both cards, I pieced the pear, and then I used Diamond Glaze on the pear itself. I really like how that turned out. You can see it in the close-up here. And below you will see the two cards together.
Papers: Memory Box Blackbird, Memory Box Soiree opal, Memory Box Jack o Lantern notecard, Memory Box Meadow and Vanilla Bean cs
Stamp Ink: Memento rich cocoa, tangelo, bamboo leaves, & desert sand, Ranger clear ep, VersaMark
Stamps: Memory Box Pear Collage E923
Embellishments: misc. ribbon, Diamond Glaze
So, I hope you enjoyed these despite the colors not being as I initially wanted them. Sometimes cards take on a life of their own! So, which is your favorite? I would love to know!!! Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy your Wednesday!

They are both pretty but I think my favorite is the softer card. It is funny how these projects like to take over isn't it?
