Halloween Spiders, Oh My!

Papers:  Memory Box Evening Roost paper,Memory Box Sunset paper, Memory Box licorice notecard, Memory Box Blackbird 6x6 papers
Stamps:  Memory Box Halloween Collage G1395
Stamp Ink:  SU basic black, Memento tuxedo black, Ranger clear ep
Embellishments: Stickles black diamond, sewing machine, misc. ribbon

For today's card, I used the new Memory Box 6x6 Blackbird papers, the new 12x12 Evening Roost paper, and the new Halloween Collage stamp {G1395}.  All of these products can be seen on the Memory Box website here.  I don't usually create too many Halloween cards but I am really loving the richness of these papers and the fun images!

To create this card:

1.  Cut a 3 5/8" x 5" piece of Evening Roost paper.
2.  Stamp the Halloween Collage stamp on this piece with black ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.
3.  Sew around the edges of this same piece.
4.  Cut a 3 3/4" x 5 1/8" piece of Sunset paper and mat the previous piece with this slightly larger piece.
5.  Tie a ribbon around the entire piece and adhere to a licorice notecard.
6.  Punch various circles out of the 6x6 Blackbird papers, ink the edges of each circle with black ink, and adhere as shown.
7.  Finish by adding Stickles to the body of each spider, and let dry.

The Evening Roost paper makes this card look a little less scary. So, if you have someone that doesn't care for scary images, maybe a card like this will do the trick!  Enjoy, and see you again soon with another "new release" creation!
