Aren't they yummy? They include:
*Leaf Print Butterfly D1349
*Damask Butterfly D1350
*Butterfly Twig D1351
*Inspire Butterfly Collage G1352
*Garden Cutaway G1353
*Happiest Birthday B1354
*Dotty Butterfly C1355
Every single stamp has a butterfly on it even the sentiment stamp. The butterfly on the sentiment stamp is a separate small stamp on the side. How fun!
Today I thought we would play with the new Memory Box Garden Cutaway stamp {G1353}. I want to show you how to create a sponged, embossed background. It creates a very fun look.
First, stamp your image onto smooth, white cardstock using VersaMark ink. Then emboss it with your clear embossing powder. Here is what it should look like. Please note, it is really hard to take a picture of this. :)
Next, choose your ink colors, and sponge the ink as you wish over the embossed image. I chose green, pink, and blue. No need to be neat about it. Just have fun! Here is how it turned out:
Again, it was still hard to take a photo of this but I think you can see how to create this look. Next post I will show you how I used this on a card. I hope you will come back to see the finished product. Enjoy, and have fun with the embossing and sponging!
The stamps are great - would love to own all of them! Can't wait to see what you do with your card too! Thanks for sharing!!
