So, this week we have seen how I made a quilted card and what I created with the remnants.  Today I just wanted to show you the set together.  Don't they look pretty?  You could make 2-4 more and give these as a boxed set of thank you notes to someone as a gift.  Think of the different color schemes you could use. Quilted Remnants

If you saw my post on Monday, you saw the quilted card I made.  Today's card is made from the remnants of that "quilt."  After cutting out the quilt, I saved the edges and adhered them to a Memory Box cherry blossom notecard.  I did have to trim the edges of the card and the remnant to get them sized perfectly.  Then the Memory Box Branch Heart stamp {E1310} was perfect for the opening on the card.  Since the card was already quite colorful, I stamped the heart in brown and just added a few Memory Box pearl stickers along with a sentiment to finish.  I hope you enjoyed seeing what I did with the remnants!  Thanks for stopping by!
 

Quilted Gossamer

Oh, this card was so fun to make.  First, I punched out twelve 1 1/2" squares.  I used four different paper designs from the Memory Box 6x6 Gossamer paper pack.  I then inked the edges of each square and mounted them to a piece of white cardstock.  Then I used my Sizzix Top Note die to cut it out.  I then inked the edges of the "quilt" and added a ribbon  To finish, I attached it to my Memory Box kraft notecard and stamped the sentiment with the Memory Box Thanks Script stamp {A833}.

Now, when making this card I had a remnant of the quilt left--the outside edges.  I didn't throw it out! I made another card with it.  I will share that card later this week so be sure to check back!  Thanks for stopping by!
 

Sweet Valentine

Today I wanted to share with you another quick valentine card.  This one is my favorite!  I LOVE kraft and baby pink together!  You will also notice I did not put a title on this card. I thought it would be nice to leave it blank to use for Valentine's or any occasion.

To create my card, I first stamped the Memory Box Lovey Dovey Tree stamp {E1308} onto my kraft paper.  Then I stamped it several more times onto Memory Box Gossamer paper scraps I had on my desk.  I then cut the hearts out and added to the stamped image on the kraft paper.  I left the paper piece sort of long so that I could use a border punch on the bottom.  I then matted the piece with Memory Box Soiree Petal paper.  It's so pretty!  Then I added a bow, some Memory Box pearls, and attached it to my kraft card to finish!  I hope you enjoyed today's creation!  See you again soon!

A Quick Valentine Card

I created this quick card today after realizing I don't have any Valentine cards yet.  I am sure February 14th will creep up on me before I know it! :)  This card was fun and easy to make.  First I cut the Memory Box 6x6 Gossamer paper to fit the Memory Box azalea notecard.  I then inked the edges of the paper and stamped the Memory Box Branch Heart stamp {E1310} towards the top of the paper.  Then I added my ribbon and adhered it all to the notecard.  Then I added my title and jewels to finish.  I love the bright pink on this card, and I hope you you do too. A 6x6 Page in Gossamer!

Ooooops!!  I had totally forgotten to create a title page for a challenge I am doing this year.  My pages will be 6x6, and most of you know that pink is my favorite color so the the new Memory Box Gossamer papers were perfect for my page!

To create my page, I cut a few strips of Gossamer paper, inked the edges, layered them, and then tied a ribbon around them.  After that, I added the alphabet stickers, flowers, and scriptures.  I also used the Memory Box pearls for the centers of the flowers.  The pearls are just the perfect touch to the tiny flowers!  I can never have enough Memory Box pearls on hand. :)

This was really a quick page to do, and what I love about the Gossamer papers is that they can be used for anything--not just Valentine's!  If you haven't picked your paper up yet, you will want to do that quickly for sure!  Thanks for stopping by, and see you next week with some more creations!

I purchased this board about a month ago, and I couldn't wait to alter it with the new 12x12 Memory Box Gossamer papers!  It was fun to do, and really did not take too long.  After painting the board, I sprayed the board with Smooch spray paint.  I then added the Gossamer papers.  I did use Mod Podge to adhere and seal the paper.  I had fun embellishing the board with flowers, ribbon, and Memory Box baby pink pearls.  I also stamped the new Memory Box Branch Heart stamp {E1310} on the memo paper that came with the board.  I thought it added a great touch!  Here are a few close-ups of my board:

 

I hung the board on one of my storage units in my craft area.  This unit had a blank side to it, and I felt like this was the perfect spot to hang it!  And who knows, maybe I will leave the family some love notes here!  Or better yet, maybe they will leave me one!
