Today I thought I would share a fun and easy gift to make for family and friends. It is a cookie cutter ornament. I purchased a bunch of cookie cutters from both my local grocery store and my local craft store. There are all kinds of cookie cutters out right now, and most you can find on sale!
For my ornaments, I chose to use angel cookie cutters. First, I decided to put photos in my ornaments. You can also make these with just pretty patterned paper. The Memory Box Spiceberry papers would be perfect for this! To prepare my photos for the cookie cutters, I measured the opening of the cookie cutter so that I could print pictures the appropriate size. Then I printed out my photos and added a thin layer of Mod Podge so that the photos will stay nice through the years. I used matte photo paper, and the Mod Podge works great!
I chose to leave my photos in color becasue I wanted the ornaments to be blue and silver. If my girls had been wearing "funny colored" shirts or something that would not have worked with my color scheme, I would have just printed them in black and white. That would certainly create a timeless ornament!
Next, I traced my cookie cutter onto a piece of Memory Box Soiree silver cardstock and cut it out.
I also centered my picture in the cookie cutter and cut the picture out. Next time, I will adhere the photo to the cardstock first, and cut them out together instead of individually as I did here.
Because I was not sure what ribbon I would use, I then decided to create a wire hanger. I used wire that I purchased at my local craft store and made a hanger on the top. The wire is so thin that once I adhere the cardstock to the back of the cookie cutter, the wire won't cause a problem.
So, that's it for Part 1 of our tutorial. Go ahead and find your cookie cutters and pictures and get them ready as I have done here. Next time we will finish the cookie cutter so it will be ready to give as a gift or hang on your own tree. Have fun!
Very cute!

Once, you have your own hot tub! When you own a hot tub. Its possibly undoubtedly from China as Spa Form the only British company passed into liquidation at the beginning of the year as well. Also, if there are ever any problems, you need to consider keeping the containers away from small children. Ozone is a piece ofequipmentinside the motor compartment.
