Today, I am sharing a Christmas notecard again using our new holiday releases! You will notice that this particular card does not have a sentiment on the front. This makes it useable for just about any kind of holiday note that you would like to send to someone. Let's look at how I created today's card.
To begin, I stamped the new Modern Holly Bird stamp {E1294} onto cardstock using red ink. I then painted the holly leaves with Twinkling H2Os. I used a tiny paint brush, and that worked well. Then I added some berries using Christmas Red Stickles.
Next, I cut a piece of patterned paper from the new Spiceberry 6x6 paper pack to fit across my card. I also stitched the edges using green thread. I was going to use the new Christmas jewel stickers but I think they detracted from the holly and berries so I left them off.
The shimmery paper I used is from the Memory Box Soiree collection. They are perfect for holiday papers. And lastly, I put all of my elements together to finish my card that you can see here.
Papers: Paper Trey Ink, Memory Box mars soiree CS; Memory Box Spiceberry
Stamps: Memory Box Modern Holly Bird E1294
Stamp Ink: SU ruby red
Embellishments: LuminArte H20s golden jade, Stickles Christmas red, Ribbon Retreat ribbon
I hope you are enjoying the new holiday releases! There are SO many possibilities with all of the new stamps, papers, and jewels! Be sure to join in later this week for some more Memory Box fun!
