In my last post, I shared a Christmas card using kraft and baby blue. Well, today, I thought we would create a Christmas card using more traditional colors--red and green. I am also using the new 6x6 Spiceberry paperpack and the new Night Before clear stamp set {CL141}.
To start, I stamped the pine tree and word stamp onto a Memory Box dill notecard using green ink.
Next, I painted a chipboard frame with Twinkling H2Os. After the chipboard dried, I backed it with a piece of patterned paper from the Spiceberry pack. I also stamped the December calendar stamp onto another sheet of Spiceberry paper, and then I cut it out and adhered it to the center of the frame. And for fun, I circled the "25" on the calendar. You will see that in my finished card.
To finish, I adhered the chipboard and added two ribbons. And here you have it:
Papers: Memory Box dill notecard; Memory Box Spiceberry
Stamps: Memory Box Night Before CL141
Stamp Ink: SU garden green, Adirondack espresso
Embellishments: LuminArte Twinkling H20s golden jade, Magistical Memories wiggle it chipboard frame
This card was quick and fun to make. If you need to make a lot of cards, this would be a great one to do. Thanks for stopping by, and I will see you next post!
