As you know, Memory Box sells AMAZING papers, cardstock, notecards, envelopes, etc. One thing I love about them is that the inside of the notecards and the back of the cardstock are already white so it makes it VERY easy to write a note inside your cards. The notecards are rectangular in shape. They measure 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches which is a standard card size. But have you thought about turning one of those cards into a circular card? Well, that is exactly what I did, and I will share it with you today.
To start, I took my CM circle templates and found one that would be the perfect size. Then I cut it out. You do not have to have a circle cutter to do this. You can trace any circular object that will make a nice card size. I traced my template so that you could see how it would work also.
Notice how the top section will not be cut. I left the fold; otherwise, you will end up with two pieces of paper instead of a card. :) Next, I took a smaller circle template to cut the Memory Box Fernbrae paper I wanted to use.
Then I decided to use a portion of my very favorite butterfly on the Memory Box Butterfly Collage {E1060} stamp. I stamped the butterfly onto Memory Box blue poppy paper using VersaMark. I then embossed the butterfly with Ranger seafoam white embossing powder. After embossing, I cut the butterfly out. "She" is going to sit on the pretty piece of chipboard you see in the picture below.
After that, I put all of my pieces together to finish my card. Here is how it turned out:
You can see, I added some stitching, ribbons, and my favorite Memory Box pearls! I hope you enjoyed today's post. Have a great day ahead!
