So, did you get your papers cut and labeled? Today I wanted to share the completed swatch book with you. To create my cover, first I cut two pieces of chipboard the same size as the swatches (2 3/4" x 4 1/4")--one for the cover and one for the back. Then I cut two pieces of patterned paper from the Rhubarb Tart collection to cover the chipboard.
Once I attached the paper to the chipboard, I punched hole in the covers so that I would not put my embellishments where the holes would go.
Then I decorated the cover a bit but not too fancy as this will get some good use. I added eyelets and large metal rings to hold it together. You could of course bind it with your Bind-it-All or any other method you like. I like the larger rings because it allows for growth. The smaller rings were a very tight fit so I could not use those. Here is my finished swatch book:
Papers: Memory Box Co. Rhubarb Tart
Tools: Crop-a-Dile
Alphas: Rose Moka brown alpha stickers, Making Memories rub-on alphas
Stamps: Memory Box Co. Solid Butterfly (B1048)
Stamp Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink faded jeans
Embellishments: misc. ribbon, Heidi Swapp flower, Memory Box jewel stickers sky blue (15508), We R Memory Keepers eyelets

What a great idea! I am planning to start a swatch book for my Stampin' Up paper this weekend once the big projects are done. Thanks for the chance to enter the giveaway. I'd love to win this Memory Box swatch book as I have a few MB papers and am always mixing up the colors and it'd be nice to know that I am indeed using Taffy and not Begonia. :)

Patter, you have all the right creative juices flowing, GF! This is so adorable and would be so handy to have. Not having that many MB papers in my collection yet, this would allow me to see exactly which color I need to order and which colors coordinate with other papers. Thanks for a chance to win! :)
Hugs~

This is a great idea. I would love to have this as I could never make one as cute as you but I also don't have time to do something like this. It would come in handy for me.

Wow! What a generous offer. I would love to have one of these swatch books. It would make choosing and remembering color combinations so much easier. Which would then make the little scrapbooking time I have seem longer. Thanks for the chance to win!

all your organizing ideas are not only useful but too cute. Wow that would be very handy to have when creating & easier than dealing with 12x12 sheets & the more I thumb thru them pulling them in and out the more they get dinged up. Thanks for the inspiration

Patter, I would LOVE this swatch book. Memory box has so many many beautiful papers but sometimes I forget what color I used on a project. Additionally it would help me match with other papers. Plus, it is so cute, who wouldn't want it!!

What a wonderful idea and great but simple construction. I have used some of your organisational tips and find them most useful and easy to adapt/apply as needed. Blessings.

I made one of your notepads last week and have enough scrap paper saved for a second one. I like your ideas. Thank you for being so generous with your time and talent. I had not heard of Memory Box until you joined the team and I have seen some beautiful paper, so if I win, I will use it as my ordering list. :)

Wow, I would love to have the swatch book. What a great idea....it will now take me approximately three years to do that for all of my paper(sure hope my husband doesn't read your blog too!)

Patter,
This is a fantastic idea. The swatches are so colorful and the cover is so cute I would leave it out on my crafting desk. Thumbing through it would save time and increase crativity because you might find a color combo you wouldn't think of otherwise.

WOW - I would love the swatchbook because I have become addicted to the Memory Box cards. I now use them for most of my creations and find myself buying packs of them every single time I go to the stamp store.
Thanks for the great opportunity.
