I am having a weird evening of watching Christmas movies and making Valentine's Day cards. Something doesn't seem quite right! Although, I have to admit that I could watch "White Christmas" year round white making any occasion of card. I love Danny Kaye and live for the brief cameo by George Chakiris. But, I digress.....
Back to card making. The card I made today could be used for Valentine's Day, but the design would also work well for a wedding card. Also, I chose a pink flower button, but I think a heart button would look nice too.
To make this card, I stamped the Branch Heart (E1310) onto paper from the 6" x 6" Gossamer pack using brown Versafine ink. The Nesting Birds (D1315) image in the center normally has a branch underneath it, but I chose to mask off the heart so that only the nest was stamped. To finish the card, I added some twine, a couple of buttons, some petal pink jewels, blossom metallic pink cardstock, some 12" x 12" Gossamer paper, and a mocha notecard.
Very cute! Love this card.
