I am sure you have noticed that I tend to use a lot of layers on cards. I just can't help myself! It is especially hard for me to refrain from adding some of those gorgeous Memory Box patterned papers. Sometimes I forget that it can be fun to make a one-layer card.
To make the card, I stamped the Lattice Background (E1283) onto an eggshell notecard using Antique Linen Distress ink. I then stamped the trunk of the Build A Tree (D1273) onto the patterned background using Rich Cocoa Memento ink. The leaves of the tree were added with an assortment of red, yellow, and orange pigment inks and the card was finished by adding some brown faux stitching and a Just a Note (B851) saying.
Wow, that is really really pretty. With all the colors it doesn't look like a one layer card!
