I have to say, I had a wonderful weekend. Dave finished up his Memory Box tour in Virginia and taught 4 workshops at the store where I work/teach (Angela's Happy Stamper). You wouldn't believe the amount of laughter that came out of that classroom! Not only were people excited about the coloring techniques, but they all seemed to have a really good time (Dave always seems to have a funny story). If you ever get a chance to take one of Dave's classes, I highly recommend it!
I am posting this card in honor of Dave's visit. Last Sunday it reached 98 degrees, and I think Dave was a bit blown away by the humidity. The sad thing is that it wasn't even close to being as humid as it can get here. I thought this card was a great way to think cool thoughts rather than, "oh my gosh, it is so stinkin' hot!"
To make the Christmas card, I stamped the collage element and individual snowflake from the new Snow Eve clear set (CL142) onto paper from the 6" x 6" Dewfrost collection using Deep Lagoon Versafine ink. I then added the saying from the same set using Vintage Sepia Versafine ink. To highlight the snowflakes, I added a diamond jewel to the center of each.
Very pretty! Love the colors and the icy feeling!
