Contest!

Need a good start to your week?  How about a chance to win $100 in Memory Box Bucks to spend at your favorite Memory Box retailer?  It is time to break out your Memory Box stamps and supplies because all the Memory Box blogs have separate contests running this week that each have a $100 prize. Woohoo!

When I started my Color Whimsy blog, I knew I wanted to feature a lot of coloring.  I just can't get enough of paints, inks, markers, pencils, crayons, powders, and sprays.  So many choices to feed my coloring addiction! For this particular contest, I decided to focus on markers. To enter my "Marker Mania" contest, I challenge you to create a project featuring your favorite markers (Copic, Tombo, Marvy, Sharpie, Adirondack, gel pens, etc) as well as at least one stamp from the new Woodland Springtime collection.  Need a reminder of what stamps are in the Woodland Springtime collection?  Check out Dave's blog post here.

It is up to you decide if you want to create a card, scrapbook page, or altered project.  Let your creativity flow!

There several choices of how to submit your contest entry.  You can leave a comment on my blog with a link to your online entry, or you can email it directly to [email protected] with the subject line of "Marker Mania Color Whimsy Contest."  Online entries are due by 11:59PM (PST) on March 28, 2009.

If you prefer to send your entry by snail mail, please send it to:

Memory Box Co., 10232 63rd Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98178 with the words "Maker Mania Color Whimsy Contest" on the envelope and card.  Entry must be postmarked by March 28, 2009.

A winner will be selected on April 6, 2009 and will receive a $100 credit for a one-time purchase of Memory Box products through their favorite Memory Box retailer.

Hi Laura! I'd love to participate but don't have any of the new stamps yet. I made a (well, I think it's great) card yesterday with an older spring stamp. Anyway I can enter with that? I totally understand if not, but thought I'd check!
