The new Woodland Springtime images will be making their way to stores next week, so I thought it would be fun to post a card using the new Perched Chick (C1256) image. Isn't he sweet?
To make the card, I used pieces of the perched chick stamp for the first three plants and the complete image for the final plant. The chick was stamped many times onto white cardstock using Black Memento ink and then colored with Copic markers. Instead of cutting around each branch and leaf (which would have taken a long time), I cut out the branches separately from the leaves and then reassembled them onto pieces of paper from the Fernbrae collection. To finish the card, I stamped the saying (Spring brings B1244) onto the card with black VersaFine ink and added some of the new 24 karat pearls. I thought they added nice dimension to the card.
And now for the contest! How would you like to win the new 6" x 6" Rhubarb Tart paper pack? Here is a picture of the papers included in the collection:
To win the pack, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post letting me know about your favorite Memory Box product. Do you have a favorite stamp? Paper collection? Color of Rhinestone? Anything goes. I will draw a random winner on Monday, February 23rd at 6pm EST. Your email address will only be used if you are the winner and need to be contacted for your mailing address. Good Luck!
Ps...Be sure to check out the Inkollage blog too. You won't believe how many Memory Box rhinestones you can win!
Cute Chick! Love how you created the trees. My favorite is Club Panda.

I really enjoy your blog. The new woodland collection looks great. I'm very partial to squirrels. My favorite Memory Box stamp (presently) is the stipple dots. So versatile and easy to use to make great accents and backgrounds.
