Hello friends!! It's that time of the week again. Wow another week has passed and its already July. I hope you all had a great and productive week. I know I sure did for a nice change of pace. Today I designed a card with my sweet little nephew in mind. He is a teenager and I wanted to make him a fun and bright summer card to let him know I'm thinking of him and that I miss him dearly. They have been getting rain in NH day after day but at least the ocean is close by them when they want to go. I miss going to the beach and especially vacationing on Cape Cod. Ah the good 'ole days!! Anyway, I hope you will enjoy my card this week and I wish you a safe and fun Fourth of July weekend for those of you located in the United States. We had the most gorgeous week here in MN. The weekend is suppose to be really nice and sunny (in the 80's). And not too hot!! Just the way I like it. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to *see* you next week same place, same time. I'm off for a few days of fun celebrating the holiday with my friends and doing a little crafting. For those of you that know me personally, I maywork on my scrapbook I started a little before Mother's Day. It was suppose to be a gift for my little sister but I got busy and its been in a plastic bag ever since. I am using an assortment of 6 x 6 Memory Box papers in the mini album. Card Directions:
Cut Glitterati paper to 3.75 x 5.5" and cut a Licorice notecard to 4 x 5.5". Use orange ink to edge Glitterati paper and adhere to Licorice panel. Adhere paper layer to a Gourd notecard and set aside. Stamp Beach Penguin on white paper and on a piece of yellow/orange paper from Fernbrae paper collection. You will be paper piecing the penguin's swim trunks and coloring the trunks with a Copic marker. Color white stamped penguin image using the Copics listed above. Adhere penguin to black paper layer and adhere to Gourd notecard. Stamp Happy Summer on a scrap of Gourd paper as shown and edge paper with orange chalk ink to *orange out* any white edges. Tie single knot bow and attach ribbon with a glue dot. Stamp Sun in black and color with Copics. Punch out sun using Martha Stewart punch. Edge sun with yellow Copic marker and then edge again with orange chalk ink. Raise up sentiment and sun with dimensionals. I used an assortment of Spica Glitter Pens for glittery accents on all the stamped images. Glue little orange Doodlebug paper flower to inside of colored sun and stick on a Canary rhinestone jewel inside the flower. Glue a strip of Doodlebug lime green paper circles to the bottom of e layered penguin image. Attach one Juicy rhinestone jewel to the inside of each circle as shown in the photo. I stamped Miss You and Fun in the Sun on the inside of the Gourd notecard. That's it in a nutshell. Whew this was another long one!! Catch you later!!

Wow...you are really rocking the Glitterai DP! Love how you incorporate it into your card....so well done! Love the bling, paper pieced trunks and the little flower w/bling inside the sun is adorable! Another beautifully done card, Tami! TFS and look forward to next Friday!
