New Clear Stamps!

We've been really busy in the design studio cranking out samples with the new clear sets! I am always amazed at how wonderfully these stamps are for positioning and making little scenes.

This is the CL139 Seeds and Stems set - it has circles with dots, some seed burst patterns and long stems that bend into beautiful tall, curves. We used a number of green ink pads to create this little scene - something serene to look at. We kept the composition simple but added a few diamond jewel stickers to add a little sparkle to the floating seeds.

It's easy to work the images together - I like to put the large circles down first, then start adding the little seedbursts on the large circles. Stamping some smaller seed shapes floating around the card makes things a little more interesting. Remember to use a lighter color for the large circles, so that the seeds show up on top of them.

This set - CL133 Little Birdie - has some birds and blooms to play with. My Favorite thing about the set is the choice of legs - long, short or no legs. You can make a row of birds or just stamp it out individually. We used the flower and leaves in the set to make a side panel - the flower is designed with the same clean lines that we used for the bird.

We stamped a musical note (from the set) near the bird - and embellished it with a jewel sticker.

And here's a close-up of the flower, decorated with  lagoon jewels and colored with copics. The overlapping lines provide lots of opportunity for overlapping color.

Finally, a fun and silly card. This is from the CL132 Giraffe Party Set - and it is sooo easy to make a card with this set. First of all it has the grass stamp, which makes a great base for a scene. I had a similar one in an old set - but when we discontinued it I found that I really missed it. 

It's simple to put the branch where you want it, so that the giraffe is really stretching it's neck to get to the leaves - and the branch itself can be decorated with jewel "berries".

The "it's been so long" sentiment is great for sending a card to someone you haven't talked to in a while.

Aaaahh, these cards are awesome!! Sooo happy to see these NEW CLEAR Stamps..and I just bought them too recently from my LSS..wooohoo!! Will definitely play with them soon. Thanks for the ideas and inspiration..really helpful! :o)

Your bird card is beautiful! I love the soft blue that you used. The giraffe card is adorable. The card that you made using the seeds and Stem set is stunning! I hope that I can get at least one of the new sets of stamps from one of my local stamp stores.
