Hello and welcome back to my Tuesday guest blog. I appreciate all of you that stop by to visit. I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday weekend. I got to play with some of the new crystal clear stamp sets this week & let me just say, you are going to love them!! There are so many fun images in these new sets, it was hard to pick which one to start with. In my project this week, all images are from the "Little Birdie" (CL133) Clear set except for the "thanks" sentiment, and that came out of the "Hear Me Roar" (CL131) clear set. I wanted to keep the design simple, but use some bright, fun colors to really show off this beautiful & unique new flower image. The thing I love about this flower is, you can create so many different looks just by the way you color the flower or choose to embellish it.
The coloring is slightly off in my photo, but it gives you a basic idea on colors.
Start with a Raspberry note card. Stamp the larger "circle burst" image (from Little Birdie Clear set) randomly on Raspberry note card (I used Memento Rose Bud ink). Cut a strip of Tangerine Biscotti paper to 4.25" x 1". Tie with ribbon if desired. I used black grosgrain in this case. Adhere to your Raspberry note card. Cut a piece of white card stock to 2" x 2.5". Stamp your flower image (I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink) & color how you desire. I used Copics in this project. I stamped the "thanks" sentiment in Memento Tuxedo black & stamped the smaller "burst" image just to the left for fun using Memento Rose Bud ink. I added a strip of Grass Jewels (15509) across the bottom for some sparkle. Adhere your white piece to a black piece of card stock cut slightly larger & adhere to the Raspberry base.
Be sure to check out Dave's post below where there are some wonderful card samples using the new clear sets!! See you again next Tuesday. Enjoy your day!

Oh my gosh I *love* that flower and hope that the owner of my local stamp store will be ordering it. I also love the very cheerful colors that you used.
