I had a chance to sneak into the Impress Rubber Stamps store over the weekend before they opened. As always, Shari the store manager was busily working away (I kind of think that she sleeps there!) making the store beautiful, fun and inspiring.
I worked at Impress for almost ten years and loved it! I wanted to share with those of you who can't quite make it to Seattle a taste of Impress - a fantastic store FULL of ideas for cards, packaging, gifts, and friendly people. Maybe after seeing the video, you'll want to come check it out!
(We're having fun producing these little mini-videos for the blog - but there is a learning curve, so be patient while we get better!). So now, without any more delay, is a 2008 fall tour of the Impress Rubber Stamp store in Tukwila, Washington. Enjoy!

Wow Dave, Hollywood is the next stop! Good thing we didn't know you were coming to film or we would have been up all night straightening the shelves!
THANKS so much for sharing our store with others on the web. The internet is so much fun.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. It's where I took many classes, met you and the other wonderful staff, stopped on my way home from teaching school in Federal Way, etc. I love that store, and the other Impresses too!!! The displays look wonderful.

What a beautiful store you have! I wish I lived nearer to it (live in NY), but if I ever make it to Washington, you can bet I WILL visit. It was wonderful seeing the store that I have ordered so many great things from.

Thanks for the video. I have often emailed to mention how wonderful your website is and, I see that it keeps getting better. It has been and still remains to be THE BEST website that I have seen. I know that it doesn't help your sales, but I keep you as my own little secret.

I so love the Impress stores! I don't live in Washington anymore but if we are anywhere near one of their stores on a trip, that is a "must stop" for sure!

I sooooooooo wish I could come play!!! I don't think I could be any further away and still be in the US...hey...how about an EAST coast store?????? When I lived just outside Marietta, GA I shopped with RubberStamp Fantasy on the square and the owners (Gary & Debbie) always kept us abreast of the happenings at Impress. At one time your products were not available to retail and it was like a death in the stamping community!!! You are all dearly loved...but especially with your recent "Out of the Box" releases! Keep up the Great Work!!!

How lucky I am to be just an hour away from both Dave and Impress! Ahhhhh.
Couldn't get any better than that! And they are all terrific people, believe me!

Thanks for the video and I am a big Norah Jones fan too! Like everyone else previously posted, I live too far away (Florida) to shop there, but I do order on line from you. Your service is fast and friendly. Now I will have a visual of your store when I order.

Thanks so much for sharing this little video. I love visiting Impress when I'm in Washington visiting my sisters. It's my favorite store and since I didn't get there this year I almost got enough of a treat, not quite - but close. And Dave by the way I have a couple of your watercolor books. You're Great! Although I'm a Stampin' Up Demo I still love it all & the simplest makes me happiest! Happy Holidays. Please stop by my site for a visit. Thanks again. Barb

Thanks a ton for sharing! I have ordered stamps from impress and have wonder what their stores must look like! It was nice to see especially since I live in Michigan the the big ugly giant of the bad economy has effective many of my small independent stamp stores! Over the last two years all my favorite stores have closed! I am stuck with on-line or Michaels! LOve seeing samples on your blog!!
